This book contains a lot of fantasy. If you dont like to read about people having powers or anything supernatural, then this is not the right book for you.
"A Child Called It" by Dave Pelzer. In the second-worst documented case of child abuse in California state history, Dave suffered life-threatening injury at the hands of his mother. In this book, Dave shares some of his struggles in order to inspire others to never give up no matter how hard the situation. I would recommend this book because it was both sad and interesting. I felt a lot of compassion for Dave and tried hard to understand why his mother hated him so much. This was a quick read because the reader is so into the story, they can't put it down.
November Blues Author:Sharon Draper November Blues is a really good book because I believe that many teenagers can relate to it. In this book you will learn the importance of find your real friends and thinking twice before making a choice.It also has to deal with teenage death and pregnancy and the decisions that follow.
This book is a wonderful book for teenage girls who are struggling with the same difficulties of breaking up and getting with your bestfriend type of drama. "Breakup Bible" touches the heart of a girl whose going through the troubles of having your heart broken. Jennifer fell in love with the editor of the school newspaper who later changed his mind. While her divorced mother is falling in love and her father finding a life partner, they set her up with a guy that changed everything and a book that helps her forget.
I was very fond of this book mainly because I am a teenage girl and well, the drama and juicy stories keep me turning the pages.
By: Richard Peck Took place in the time of the Great Depression. Mary Alice is sent to live with her grandmother (Dowdel) because of the hard times her parents were having. She didn't like the idea because she was a city girl and her grandmother didn't exactly live in the city. Her grandmother liked things the old fashion way that meant Mary Alice had to live without a phone. During the time she lived with her grandmother she went threw many hard challenges. The hardest thing was adapting to her grandmother's life style. At the end she learned many things from her and even ended up marrying in her grandmother's house. I thought this was a very interesting book. It had many things and situations that we can relate too and by this it helped me to understand the book even more. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend. I bet there is many teenagers out there that can relate to the situation in this book. The insight I have gained is the meaning of "you never know until you try it." Mary Alice didn't think she was going to like living in a new place but at the end ended up living there!
Piers, the son of a blacksmith, becomes a page and joins a knight on his journey. A young man kills that knight for his rude acts against a lady and Piers becomes his master. Piers teaches him manners and knightly ways, as he is much younger than knights are supposed to be. They meet well known knights and have unusual and otherworldy adventures.
The book is medieval based fantasy, but has unexpected humor.
This book is about a gunslinger in ajourney to a towere that will answer all of his questions. In his journey he encounters a man that knows dark magic. This man kills the gunslinger's familly and injures him. The gunslinger than starts chasing this man wich he hopes will lead him to the dark tower he has been looking for.
I thought that this boom was very good. The reason is because it is filled with many emotional and also many fighting scenes. The climax of the story is verry good and also it will surprice the reader because of the things the gunslinger discovers.
Friday Night Lights by H.G. Bissinger It is about a football team with a lot of hype during preseason, with there star running back Boobie Miles. During the second game, he tears his ACL. They end up in a 3 way tie and they flip a coin to see who gets in the playoffs...
I enjoyed the book because I like football and if you like sports you need t reed the book, there is so much the movie left out.
It's about this boy, Iggy, he gets kicked out of high school. His parents are drug addicts and alcoholics. His friend Mo makes a mistake of buying drugs from Freddie- Iggy's Dad's drug dealer. Suddenly, after they go to Mo's mom's house for help there are three plans in battle: 1.Iggy's plan to change the school's idea about him 2. Mo's plan to get money to pay off Freddie 3. Mo's mom's plan to help Iggy/ get her son back It made me understand the kids that are so rebellious at school and yet they want to better themselves. I guess it's actually possible that trouble can find a person itself. It also taught me to be more comprehensive of what others might be going through.
This book is about a teenager name Davey. He father got shot in a robbery. It was hard for her to deal wih that. Until she meets this boy name Wolf. He understand what she is going through and tries to make her get on with her life.
This is a good book but if your not really into this kind of book then it's not right for you to read it.
New Moon By: Stephanie Meyer In this book, Edward leaves Bella because she has fallen in deep love with him, Bella falls into a serious depression. Bella gets really close to her werewolf friend Jacob, he invites her to go cliffdiving. Alice sees Bella and tells Edward who thinks she is trying to kill herself. Edward is in Paris and the other vampires try to kill him... Will Bella and Edward get back together?
I really enjoyed this book, some people found it quite boring but to me it was pretty good, not as good as Twilight..
This book is about young girl named China, who at a young age has a baby. When her baby is alive she is struggling by to find a way to take care of her baby and herself. When unexpected things happen it get harder for her to pay the bills. She starts working at this club where she has problems with some of the girls but she also meets a new friend. She tries not to let things get to her but when she finds out something she doesn't like she has a hard time confronting it and gettig over it. She gets through life trying to make things right.

The last book of the Harry Potter series. Fleeing to Serius's house, Harry and his friends find Horcruxes. To find the rest of them, they decided to go to Godric's Hallow. There, they met Voldmort pretending like someone eles and barely get out of there. Subsequently, they decide to go back to Hogwart to save the school and the students. Finally, the the last battle between Hogwart and Voldmort has begun.
In this book fourteen year old jessica loves getting attention from boys. She really only worried about herself. with her father's other woman, her mom is taking it hard. Jessica makes wrong decisions with guys that'll make her feel worse about herself. Going through this makes her lose her best friend and creativity of painting. Her best friend maks her realize that people aren't always nice. From everything she learns a lesson; guys aren't everything and once again becomes happy Jessica she was a very long time ago.
This book is about a red neck baseball player who is competing with a city boy over many things. They fight over the same girl and over who is the best pitcher. They fight a lot.
It's a fantasy novel that relates to the Lord of the Rings series. It's a story about a yound man named Turin is banished from a royal city and joins a band of outlaws. He has great courage and power and goes off in adventure to find his true self.
This is an amazing book if you like fantasy and constant change that moves you. I highly recommend this book.
This book is about a vampire and a human that fall in love. It is a romatic book but it is still a good book. They fall in love and Edward the vampire doesn't want to be with her because he doesn't want to hurt her but he can't stand to be away from her and she can't be away from him. I recommend this to anybody that wants to read it.
Jimi and me was a good book to me its about a little boi who's in love with the 80's and finds out his dad gets shot when leave the house late to go get a soda. then the little boi finds out he has to move to live with his aunt Berny in hollow falls. he really doesnt want to go out there becasue he knows noone out there. then when he gets there he gets made fun of and talked about because he still dresses like its the 80's... he also loves jimi hendrix so when ever he is feeling good, bad, happy, or sad he listens to jimi hendrix... then later on in the story keith does something very good for himself and everyone soon starts to admire him..... i think that you should all go out and read this book it is a very interesting book.
This book is about a fashion model who finds herself in a freak car accident and the result leaves her without a jaw. Her life seems to be over until she meets someone that is more important to her than she thinks. Was the accident really an accident or is there a bigger picture to her downfall?

This book was written by the same author that wrote Fight Club. It was a great book and it kept me interested the whole time. This book was a little odd and it threw some things at me I wasn't expecting. This book is a great read for mystery/twist lovers.
This book is about a normal girl that is in loved with a vimpire. The vimpire does not think that he can handle himself why he is around the gril becuse he want to drink her blood. So he leaves her and she just falles apart. Jacob the wherewolf that keeps pople safe form the vimpire be comes friends with the gril. Then vimpire thinks that the girl is dead so he tries to kill himself but then she comes and saves him. Finally the vimpire come back to stay with her.
This book is a really good love story and I would recommend this to any one.
Skinny Boy: A Young Man's Battle and Triumph Over Anorexia Author: Gary A. Grahl
Skinny Boy is an eye-opening book. Gary, the author, was the actual main character in the book. Gary suffering with Anorexia. No matter if people would tell him that he wasn't fat, Gary thought otherwise. Gary has a voie inside his head called "It", "It" always puts him down and just makes him feel like he's a whale for eating what he does. This book just makes you a little bit more aware what a person suffering from anorexia or any type of disorder is going through. I HIGHLY recomend this book. The book is full of twists.
I enjoyed this book so much that I even e-mailed the author, not expecting a response. But it was amazing when he wrote back. :D
Two Little Girls in Blue Author: Mary Higgins Clark
The book is about a couple who gets their twin girls get kidnapped. The Kidnappers aren't violent, but they are asking for a lot of money. They return one of the twins,but they say the other is dead..
This story follows the character of Holden Caufield and his trip home after he's kicked out of his private school. He know's his parents will be upset with him about being expelled so he spends a few days in New York by himself. He experiences some events that make him realize that one day he's going to have to get serious about life and grow up.
"If you was a fish, Mother Nature'd take care of you, wouldn't she? Right? You don't think fish just die when it gets to be winter do ya?"
This seemed to me to be a coming of age book. I found myself being frustrated and didn't identify with the main character at all. I would recommend people to read it because I'm sure there are some life lessons you can get out of the book.
Ive only read a few pages into the book but from what i have read so far this book is mainly about two kids from diffrent ethnic backgrounds, one white and one black, fighting to be friends. The father of the white boy will not allow his son to befriend the other boy and he has no idea why. From the very beginning of the story the white boy saves the black boy from a angry rooster and from then on they vow to be friends until the father cuts into it and tears them apart for what wont be the last time....
Can you imagine having a power that comes to you naturally? A power that deals with the other side of this very world? A kid named Jack contains a six sense, the sense of seeing the spirits of the dead. He moved from his old house because his dad died. Ever since his death, strange things have been happening. He had seen a dead old woman who is willing to suck the souls of those who come across her path...
If you like to read about a person with unique powers, then this is the book for you. It will leave your jaw hanging throughout the whole novel.
If you like high school football or if you play high school football then this is a GREAT book for you. This book goes through everything a high school has. It also shows how football can bring a whole town together. The team has its up and downs but the team still finds a way to find good. Read it to find out what happens. It also has a great movie.
Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass Author: Lewis Carroll
Alice is sitting with her sister by a tree when she sees a white rabbit and follows it down the rabbit hole. She finds herself in a fantasy land and interacting with strange characters like the Hatter and Cheshire Cat.
In Through the Looking-Glass, Alice finds herself back in Wonderland. She meets a different set of characters and her mission is to become a queen.
"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"
This book isn't childish or a direct relation to the Disney movie. This book is full of odd riddles and morals underneath all the nonsense. It was a fun book to read and can take on a whole different meaning if you research about the author.

This book is very controversial due to the fact that it personifies God in a different view that many people don’t agree with. I looked past the fact the book is controversial and read it anyway and I was glad I did. Once I got started reading, I didn’t want to put it down.
This book is about two siblings that were separated at the age of seven. Smith is the name of the brother and Helen is the name of the sister. Helen has a son that is a football player. Gary the son of Helen runs away to New York where he is arrested for breaking curfew. Smith is a private investigator who goes down to the jail after his nephew Gary who tells the cops that the two are related. After leaving the police station the two head back to Smith's apartment where Gary runs away again after asking his uncle for help. Gary never specifies what kind of trouble he was in. Later on as Gary is still on the run, a dead girl's body turns up and everyone thinks Gary is to blame. This story has drugs, violence & murder. I recommend this book to every person who enjoys mystery novels.
Creature is a very interesting book. its starts off with a boy not liking football very much until he finds a girl to impress. he then takes some vitamins to help his growth but ends up hurting himself and others. meanwhile the girl he likes breaks up with her boyfriend. her boyfriend goes crazy and beats up the boy he beliefs causes it. he ends up going crazy. that is only the beginning to this book.
This book sounds interesting, because i like books that tells the story of how people survive on their own. you are right though, when you say about people having powers. i really dont like that type of writting.
It all begins with a girl who moves into a small town.She starts living with her father because her mother is on the road with her boyfriend. When she begins school, she meets a guy that isn't an ordinary person. The first time they hang out, it changes her life forever.
These books are well written and can keep you the whole day reading them.
My book The Perfect Date was about a boy who had a girlfriend, but she died when he forced her to go sledding down a very steep hill. A few years later Brady started to fall in love with a girl named Rosha. She was a beautiful blonde who just amazed him. Brady like Rosha whwile having a girlfriend named Ally. Everytime that Brady was with Rosha wewired and bad things always seemed to happen. Rosha had given Brady her number and adress so that Brady could contact her. That adress or number didn't even exsist. Brady had a best friend named Joe and Rosha killed him. As well as she killed Brady.
Alys lives in the small village of Saint Toby's. When the Inquisetor comes to the town and he claims Alys is witch. Some of the villagers try to help Alys, but the Inquisetor turned their words against them. The Inquisetor finds her guilty and sentences her to be dragon bait, but what the villagers and the Inquisetor don't know is that the Dragon will help Alys get her revenge on them.
I would recommend this book to those who like fanstasy. This book show what a witch trial could have been like and is a fantasy.
This book is about a teenage boy who is planning on breaking up with his girlfriend,Christy. The night that he tries to break up with her, she tells him that she is pregnant. He tries and tries to convince her to get an abortion, but she refuses. Eventually, they stop talking for a while. But once the Christy's parents kick her out of her house, then only place she can stay is at Jeff's house. Jeff then moves in with his uncle because he doesnt want to be around Christy. After she has the baby, Jeff goes off to college and meets another girl that he really likes. But he decides to move back to be with his son. He ends up going to a communityy college near his house and he gets back into the baby's life.
This an interesting story about a 15 years old girl whos heart is constantly breaking in pieces. Such is the result of her father leving her and her mom when she was recently born. While she tells her story, she thinks that she has found a best friend until she finds her and the guy she likes kissing. At the end she takes a hard decision which it will bring concequences (positive? negative?).

This book is about a family that has to get new identities. They all have to do this because the father, George, was working for the FBI and he snitched on some drug dealers. The drug dealers knew everything about George and his daughter April. George has to take his family and leave everything behind if they want to still live, because the drug dealers will kill them all.
This book contains a lot of suspense. If you like scary and suspensfull stories I recommend this book to you!
It's a story about three Kids, Matt, Callie and Emmy. Who have been living with their single Mother Nikky since the very beginning. Nikky is short tempered mom who takes no nonsence from her kids. Matt and Callie have been taking care of each other since they can remember not from unknown danger but from their own mother. When their smallest sister was born she had to also be protected by them. They come across Murdoch, a man who they belive will be their savior. They try everything for Murdoch to change their lives but when Nikky meets him and they end up in a relationship the kids have what they've always been waiting for a family, but it dosen't last for them because of Nikky's temper. Soon the kids need to be taken out of their home due to Nikky's excessive abuse. Although she abuses them she will not give up their custody. In the end Murdoch Nikkys sister and Matt's dad team up to help them.
This book is about Emma a girl that works in a soda company and she is sent over to represent her company in order to bring a cranberry soda to the public. When she is in the meeting, she is a big mess. She ends up spilling the soda on the big boss and beggs him not to tell her boss about it. On her way back to her company, she took a plane and there was a flight turbulence in which she started spilling all of her deep secrets to a very handsome man besides her. Then the next day at her work a guy walked in named Jack H. the American CEO of Panther Cola, who turned out to be the handsome man in the plane...!!
Blind Faith is based on two teen's who are going trough the loss of their loved ones. Liz grandmother "Bunny" recently has passed and she is depressed but learns how to think positive. As for her new neighboor his mother is diagnosed with cancer and is slowly dying. Liz and her neighboor end up falling in love and deal with each others death situations. As for liz mother she is going crazy and starts attending spritual meetings which begins family problems.
The Lost Boy is a sequel to A Child Called It about a boy who is physically abused by his mother and doesnt want to reveal his family secret. In the Lost Boy David finally reveals his brutal acts his mother brings upon him and sets out to be free. After the teachers and nurses at his elementary school discover whats been going on David is stuck with a choice to either be placed in a foster home or continue to be with his mother.With the choice of being put in a foster home David is moved several times until he finally settles with an amazing family, David grows up working to make something of his life by being in the Air Force.
John Harker went to Trannsylvania to meet Count Vladmair Dracula on what he thought would a normal buisness trip, but thats were he made his mistake. While John's wif e Mina hears no word from her husband starts seeing odd things around England and with her best friend Lucy. When she finally hears from her husband he is very unstable. The evil that Harker had found while in Trannsylvania moved to England, and is now haunting him, and the only clues they have to the evil come from a mentally distrubed man in an asylum. Lucy who is now ill in health is being treated by Dr. Van Helsing. Consequently he is the only man that can lea to Vladimair Dracula's demise.
I would highly recommend this book to those who love suspense and horror. Although it is written in short hand and my be very difficult to read.

Anne suffer between loyalty to her family and her love to federick.
The son of a toy maker that has gone off to France to help fight WWI, recieves little nutcracker men or toys pertaining to the war. The nutcrakermen sometimes depict the gruesomeness of the war. As the little boy plays a game of war he finds that his game has an unusual effect on the war.
I would recommened this book to those who like war stories and a tad bit of fanstasy. The only thing about this book was the strong imagery
This book is about a girl named Tess who's mom has her at a young age and later gets divorced from Tess' dad. She meets another man named David and then they get married. They have two girls one names Em and one named Zoe. A tragic thing happens to Zoe one day when Tess is watching her playing with her outside. Tess goes in for a minute to tell her mom something, when she rememebers Zoe is outside she goes outside to go get here but she runs toward the street and gets hit by a car. She dies unfortunately. Through the whole book Tess talks about the troubles they go through with the loss of Zoe. She writes alot about what she thinks about stuff going on and stuff she is learning while trying to get through the hurt of Zoe's death.
To a couple of people here... You must work on your summarizations... They were either... not enough to explain the book... or you just copied what was on the back of the book... I mean really!!!! especially those people who used the twilight series as a book summary.... foolish mortals....

It made me understand the kids that are so rebellious at school and yet they want to better themselves. I guess it's actually possible that trouble can find a person itself. It also taught me to be more comprehensive of what others might be going through.

This book is about a teenager name Davey. He father got shot in a robbery. It was hard for her to deal wih that. Until she meets this boy name Wolf. He understand what she is going through and tries to make her get on with her life.
This is a good book but if your not really into this kind of book then it's not right for you to read it.

I really enjoyed this book, some people found it quite boring but to me it was pretty good, not as good as Twilight..

This is an amazing book if you like fantasy and constant change that moves you. I highly recommend this book.
This book is about a vampire and a human that fall in love. It is a romatic book but it is still a good book. They fall in love and Edward the vampire doesn't want to be with her because he doesn't want to hurt her but he can't stand to be away from her and she can't be away from him. I recommend this to anybody that wants to read it.

Jimi and me was a good book to me its about a little boi who's in love with the 80's and finds out his dad gets shot when leave the house late to go get a soda. then the little boi finds out he has to move to live with his aunt Berny in hollow falls. he really doesnt want to go out there becasue he knows noone out there. then when he gets there he gets made fun of and talked about because he still dresses like its the 80's... he also loves jimi hendrix so when ever he is feeling good, bad, happy, or sad he listens to jimi hendrix... then later on in the story keith does something very good for himself and everyone soon starts to admire him..... i think that you should all go out and read this book it is a very interesting book.

This book was written by the same author that wrote Fight Club. It was a great book and it kept me interested the whole time. This book was a little odd and it threw some things at me I wasn't expecting. This book is a great read for mystery/twist lovers.

This book is about a normal girl that is in loved with a vimpire. The vimpire does not think that he can handle himself why he is around the gril becuse he want to drink her blood. So he leaves her and she just falles apart. Jacob the wherewolf that keeps pople safe form the vimpire be comes friends with the gril. Then vimpire thinks that the girl is dead so he tries to kill himself but then she comes and saves him. Finally the vimpire come back to stay with her.
This book is a really good love story and I would recommend this to any one.
Skinny Boy: A Young Man's Battle and Triumph Over Anorexia

Skinny Boy is an eye-opening book. Gary, the author, was the actual main character in the book. Gary suffering with Anorexia. No matter if people would tell him that he wasn't fat, Gary thought otherwise. Gary has a voie inside his head called "It", "It" always puts him down and just makes him feel like he's a whale for eating what he does. This book just makes you a little bit more aware what a person suffering from anorexia or any type of disorder is going through. I HIGHLY recomend this book. The book is full of twists.
I enjoyed this book so much that I even e-mailed the author, not expecting a response. But it was amazing when he wrote back. :D

He know's his parents will be upset with him about being expelled so he spends a few days in New York by himself. He experiences some events that make him realize that one day he's going to have to get serious about life and grow up.

This seemed to me to be a coming of age book. I found myself being frustrated and didn't identify with the main character at all. I would recommend people to read it because I'm sure there are some life lessons you can get out of the book.

If you like high school football or if you play high school football then this is a GREAT book for you. This book goes through everything a high school has. It also shows how football can bring a whole town together. The team has its up and downs but the team still finds a way to find good. Read it to find out what happens. It also has a great movie.

This book isn't childish or a direct relation to the Disney movie. This book is full of odd riddles and morals underneath all the nonsense. It was a fun book to read and can take on a whole different meaning if you research about the author.

This book is very controversial due to the fact that it personifies God in a different view that many people don’t agree with. I looked past the fact the book is controversial and read it anyway and I was glad I did. Once I got started reading, I didn’t want to put it down.

Smith is a private investigator who goes down to the jail after his nephew Gary who tells the cops that the two are related. After leaving the police station the two head back to Smith's apartment where Gary runs away again after asking his uncle for help. Gary never specifies what kind of trouble he was in. Later on as Gary is still on the run, a dead girl's body turns up and everyone thinks Gary is to blame. This story has drugs, violence & murder. I recommend this book to every person who enjoys mystery novels.

Creature is a very interesting book. its starts off with a boy not liking football very much until he finds a girl to impress. he then takes some vitamins to help his growth but ends up hurting himself and others. meanwhile the girl he likes breaks up with her boyfriend. her boyfriend goes crazy and beats up the boy he beliefs causes it. he ends up going crazy. that is only the beginning to this book.
This book sounds interesting, because i like books that tells the story of how people survive on their own.
you are right though, when you say about people having powers. i really dont like that type of writting.

That adress or number didn't even exsist. Brady had a best friend named Joe and Rosha killed him. As well as she killed Brady.

I would recommend this book to those who like fanstasy. This book show what a witch trial could have been like and is a fantasy.
Too Soon for jeff

After she has the baby, Jeff goes off to college and meets another girl that he really likes. But he decides to move back to be with his son. He ends up going to a communityy college near his house and he gets back into the baby's life.

At the end she takes a hard decision which it will bring concequences (positive? negative?).

I would highly recommend this book to those who love suspense and horror. Although it is written in short hand and my be very difficult to read.

I would recommened this book to those who like war stories and a tad bit of fanstasy. The only thing about this book was the strong imagery

This book is about a girl named Tess who's mom has her at a young age and later gets divorced from Tess' dad. She meets another man named David and then they get married. They have two girls one names Em and one named Zoe. A tragic thing happens to Zoe one day when Tess is watching her playing with her outside. Tess goes in for a minute to tell her mom something, when she rememebers Zoe is outside she goes outside to go get here but she runs toward the street and gets hit by a car. She dies unfortunately. Through the whole book Tess talks about the troubles they go through with the loss of Zoe. She writes alot about what she thinks about stuff going on and stuff she is learning while trying to get through the hurt of Zoe's death.
